The Kaiapoi Club Card Section plays Inter-Club Euchre and Crib against other Canterbury Chartered Clubs during a season that extends from April until August. We also enter Clubs NZ National tournaments and SI Tournaments.

Interclub

Interclub is a combined Cribbage and Euchre tournament with Kaiapoi and 5 Christchurch Clubs playing over 16 weeks, with games rotating at home and away between the clubs. There are 9 pairs in Euchre and 4 pairs in Cribbage playing each week for 2 hours every Saturday.

The tournament is made up of 3 categories.

1. Championship Shield that was first won 120 years ago.
2. Travelling Trophy, won weekly by the travelling team.
3. Aggregate Trophy for total combined scores over the 16 weeks. Kaiapoi Cards Section is very pleased and proud to have won all three trophies in 2022.

Cards Section Membership: $10 each year.
